Salvando la Navidad is an event organized by WestCOL, sponsored by Kick, and developed by Eufonia Studio. It took place between December 16 and 18, 2024.
This Christmas adventure unfolded on a Hardcore Minecraft server for over 65 players, combining narrative, creativity, mini-games, and competitiveness.
In Villa Nevada, that magical place where the snow shines like stars and the air smells like freshly baked cookies, Anastasio, one of Santa’s most loyal elves, convinced him to retire and leave the management of Christmas in his hands.
The villain of the story transformed the village into a testing ground full of complex challenges, such as gathering materials to feed Santa’s reindeer and repair the gift machine, as well as building houses, drawing Christmas illustrations, and singing carols. Every day, the players with the least points were banished by Anastasio from Villa Nevada.
The server was filled with roleplay, featuring different Christmas characters. Their role was crucial, and with their talent and creativity, they brought the story of this adventure to life, immersing the participants in the event’s narrative.
On the third and final day, Santa returned, determined to reclaim the holiday and confront the antagonist of the event. In response, Anastasio forced the elves to climb the mountain and fight his pet, the fearsome "Mr. Escarchón," a giant snowman.
The participants joined forces and pushed forward. With Christmas once again in his hands, Santa was looking for a companion to deliver gifts. Spreen, the Argentine streamer, became the fastest elf in the final challenge, earning not only the title of Santa's helper but also the event’s $5000 prize.
