Noobsters
In 2014, Eufonia Studio had not yet been created. Noobsters launched as a Minecraft 1.8 server primarily dedicated to the UHC (UltraHardcore) mode, where players could participate individually or in teams.
It features rules that make it really challenging and is considered the most competitive Minecraft game mode, as it tests PvE, PvP, strategy, and other skills.
For example, players cannot regenerate health naturally. They can only do so through golden apples, instant health potions, or regeneration.
At the end of the game, the surviving players must reach the 0.0 coordinates of the world, where the final battle takes place until the last player is standing.
Returning to Noobsters, it was a server with a scalability system. Any user could create configurable games, which would open on demand based on the number of players joining the server.
The server had its own hosts, where official moderation organized games with a preset schedule. In Noobsters' golden age, more than 3,000 UHC games were played.
It also featured other modes, such as smaller minigames like Skywars and UHC Meetups. Additionally, it had a Survival section: Survival Universe, a "Towny" type mode where players could have their own plot and protected constructions, accumulating resources to build massive structures and farms of various materials. Survival Universe also became, for a time, a Technical Minecraft server.
On the other hand, Noobsters had hardcore anarchic servers, where a player could kill another and steal their base without any control. If a player died, they were banned for eight hours. Noobsters' hardcore servers had many seasons, with more than 20 maps of this mode.
Noobsters held various events during its online time. "Mine is Yours" was one of the most impactful within the project, where players formed teams of 2 and shared a single inventory. This event even featured some content creators like Akim, Ded and Hasvik.
The server was online for over three years and closed its doors on December 1, 2018.
