Hunt and Run is an event organized by Twitch Rivals in collaboration with IlloJuan and developed by Eufonia Studio. It took place in January 2024 and is based on the book and movie series The Hunger Games.

This was a fully competitive "Battle Royale" tournament where 200 Spanish- and English-speaking players competed over four days. The prize for the winner was $100,000.

Hunt and Run introduced futuristic weapons with raycast, recoil, and many technical variables to consider it a shooter. It also featured a tech tree built from scratch, a massive fully customized map, and a variety of mechanics that created a unique gameplay experience in Minecraft.

The initial day included four trials that taught players how to play, as many Minecraft mechanics were discarded to create a completely unique experience.

The first was Survival, a tutorial for players to learn and adapt to the world in terms of resources, fauna, and flora. It ended with an exam. Then, they had to be evaluated in agility, risk-taking, aim, and combat, as player mobility was also modified.

At the end of the day, a sudden death round faced the 21 participants with the lowest scores, where 20 were eliminated.
