Hormigeo 2 is the second edition of a PvP event called 'Destroy the Nexus' divided into various phases. It took place on May 21, 2023, created by the streamer AldoGeo, with Eufonia Studio developing the second installment.
More than 90 content creators were divided into 6 teams, and the participants aimed to protect their base and queen ant. The last team standing would be the winner.
The competition peaked at over 24,000 viewers and averaged more than 10,000 on Aldo's channel.
Throughout the game, players went through different phases to gather resources, which they could use to craft weapons or as currency.
Additionally, Hormigeo featured a variety of events, challenging participants to find ways to succeed.
Finally, the red team, with Spreen as captain, claimed victory. Moreover, Alk4pon3 won the solo prize after a free-for-all showdown among the winning team members.
Hormigeo 2 was also nominated for the Esland Awards 2024 for Best Content Miniseries.
