This edition of the Juaniquilacopa was based on the 2019 Spanish movie 'El Hoyo' ('The Platform'), and it was made in Minecraft. The story is set in the future, including prisons that operate on a system of vertical cells. Prisoners in upper cells are fed through a platform that descends, while those in lower cells starve.

On April 12, the 60 participants of the event organized by JuanSGuarnizo, in collaboration with Eufonia Studio, had to face the same situation. Each player had to survive through numerous rounds, changing floors in each of them.

Each cell contained two participants who also rotated partners. During each level, they could kill each other or others to satisfy their hunger.

Riversgg, Nephtunie, PipePunk and RenRize managed to reach the kitchen to feed themselves once all the rounds were finished.

This event peaked with over 70,000 viewers during its first edition on Juan's channel. Additionally, it had a second edition a week later.

The Juaniquilacopa: 'El Hoyo' took place in 2023 and was nominated for an Esland Award for Best Content Miniseries.
